One of the primary criticisms of engineering sub contractors has traditionally been scheduling, capacity management, resource allocation and progress tracking.

HPCL took it on board and along with the rest of the Division invested in a flexible PC driven planning software system.

The system provides the following:

> Finite Resource planning
> Capacity Management
> Critical Resource analysis
> ‘What if’ scenarios
> Constraint highlighting
> Real time program tracking via barcode shopfloor data collection.
> Shopfloor Work – To – List creation
In addition, Hyde has invested in the SAP business management system to control all commercial and project data.
